Britannia Cove at Oyster Point, South San Francisco

Britannia Cove at Oyster Point is a biotech campus located in South San Francisco on the San Francisco Bay. The grading approach to the project had to ensure that the site was elevated out of the 100-year floodplain as well as the projected tsunami inundation area. The onsite improvements required the relocation of an existing 48-inch public storm drain system. Offsite improvements for this project included signalization of intersections and expansion of a private roadway.

Britannia East Grand Biotechnical Campus (Genentech’s South Campus), South San Francisco, CA

Wilsey Ham worked with Health Care Properties (HCP) from entitlement through construction to design this prominent biotechnical campus on the San Francisco Bay.  The site posed many design challenges, such as significant Bay mud deposits, contaminated soils and extensive permitting due to its location on San Francisco Bay.
